Biography

Gail Marks lives and works in NYC.  Splitting her time between her New York studio and the expansive sensorial landscape of Cape Cod, she has had the opportunity to compile a body of work from a long career of painterly practice.  She studied literature and art history at Smith College, Painting at Columbia University and the Art Students League. She has shown her work nationally and internationally, including il Biennale d’arte Contemporanea Oggiogno-Lago Maggiore, Italy. Her work is held in many private collections.
