Sophia Hamann (b. 1988, Hannover, Germany) lives and works in Braunschweig, Germany, where she studied with Walter Dahn at the University of Arts. Hamann's cross-disciplinary work is largely centered around initial photographic processes and secondary concerns of applied color, sequencing, and sculptural installation. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Gaa Gallery in Wellfleet, MA, and Klinikum Wolfsburg in Wolfsburg, Germany, as well as numerous group exhibitions, including Realism, Reality, Real (360 Degrees), Gallery Mario Kreuzberg; kotti-shop, Berlin, Germany and Gallery Ч9, Murmansk, Russia; Wahnsinn, Kunstgruppe Köln, Salon Schmitz, Cologne, Germany; Stipendium Junge Kunst: Die Wettbewerbsarbeiten 2017/18, Städtische Galerie Eichenmüllerhaus, Lemgo, Germany; and Sophia Hamann/Katarína Poliačiková, Group Exhibition, Kunstraum haaaauch-quer, Klagenfurt, Austria.
