For the Exposure sector of Expo Chicago 2022, Gaa Gallery is pleased to present a two-person exhibition of dyed wool paintings by Wilder Alison and monochromatic free-standing sculptures by Erin Woodbrey. Featured in the Exposure Sector curated by Humberto Moro, Gaa Gallery's presentation will juxtapose Alison's and Woodbrey's work in a dialog on fragmented qualities of materiality, experience, and the physical body. Through their divergent uses of process, each artist embraces the malleability of material to produce conceptually motivated works that mine the history of ideas concerning language, the body, and nature.

 

The fair will run from April 7 - 10 at the Chicago Navy Pier. Opening on Thursday, April 7 with VIP hours from 12 – 6 pm and the fair is open Friday, April 8 from 11 am – 7 pm; Saturday, April 9 from 11 am – 7 pm, and Sunday, April 10 from 11 am – 6 pm.
